ST. LOUIS – Crews are working to recover a body Friday morning from the Mississippi River in St. Louis.
The St. Louis Fire Department posted on the social media platform X that the Marine Rescue Task Force is working to recover the body.
Around 10 a.m., the fire department received a call and responded to South St. Louis to retrieve the body. The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department and the Medical Examiner also responded to the scene on Arsenal Street.
